She represents self-assurance, a love for freedom, and the courage to pursue her dreams fearlessly, drawing others with her enthusiastic, lion-like spirit.

Yesterday, I talked about the barefoot summers that grounded me. If the Texas Bluebonnet is my home, Queen’s Sunflower is how I work. 🌻✨

Before this video, I’m in “Admin Mode.” I need the bright daylight and fresh air for the cleaning, the checklists, and the focus—that’s the discipline it takes to keep things running. But when it’s time for the magic to happen, the ritual begins. ☀️➡️🌙

I drop the blinds, shut the curtains, and shift the energy. The air purifier is humming, the “Queen” is lit, and the room transforms into a golden sanctuary.

I recently learned that while young sunflowers track the light by day, they turn to face each other at night. They build a community, finding light in one another when the literal sun isn’t available. That reset is exactly what happens in the lash room before a day of clients. I want the space to support total relaxation while we transform lashes, shape brows and endure waxing. It sends signals of rest to the body & to the nervous system - which makes a huge difference!

While the sunflower is bold and authoritative, it also represents finding strength in the people around you. Whether I’m standing tall in the daylight or turning toward my community in the dark, this scent is a reminder to always command your horizon.

It was the chaos of running through the bayou with friends and the smell of chlorine from endless swim meets. It’s what all the kids are calling “touching grass” these days, but for me, it was just home.

That’s why the first candle in The Root Collection had to be Texas Bluebonnet.

Bluebonnets are famous for being hardy; they thrive in the wild and represent a deep sense of pride. They are proof that you can be delicate and “Texas tough” at the same time.

I created this candle to be an indoor version of going barefoot outside. It’s a tribute to roots that run deep and the scent of coming home to ourselves after a long day of building an empire.

Don’t mess with Texas, and definitely don’t mess with my “me-time.” 🤠✨

THE SMELL: Lemon & Cotton Blossom over a Sandalwood-Violet base. Kind of like when you’re outside and catch a breeze from a clean home where someone is *for sure* doing laundry.
